Vision & Values

Horse painting is a favorite activity for all.
Vision Statement

Horses4Heroes, Inc. is the leading family horseback riding non-profit organization that enriches lives and empowers our youth by offering able-bodied, affordable horseback riding programs that emphasize fun and safe activities with horses, mounted and un-mounted for all ages. Participants learn valuable leadership and teamwork skills, make new friends, and develop a lifelong love of horses!

Our organization serves the families of all service men and women, First Responders and other heroes in communities across the country.

It is our vision to create a national network of kid-friendly, family friendly horseback riding programs, lesson barns, boarding and leasing facilities that support our mission to make the dream of affordable horseback riding a reality for our military youth and their families! In addition, we want to establish strategically located Community Equestrian Centers across the country that will offer, in addition to horseback riding, job training and re-training opportunities for veterans, at-risk teens and others who need current job skills to re-enter the work force.

Our Core Values

Our four core values emphasize Responsibility, Independence, Dedication, and Empowerment.

Working with and caring for horses teaches many important life skills and reinforces our core values that horses build character and will guide our youth to become empowered adults who will make responsible choices throughout their lives.

Most important we believe that horses teach self-sufficiency, self-reliance and self-confidence; they boost your overall self-esteem and, convince you that YES, YOU CAN!

“Children that have parents deployed might need a friend. There are some good friends and there are bad friends but the best friend in the world is a horse.”Anonymous, Oct. 2006
