ORGANIZATION

Horses4Heroes, Inc., is founded by Allison Knott.  A board of directors has been formed.  The Diamond K Ranch has donated office space.  The PR Group, a local public relations firm, is donating its services to the organization.

Horses4Heroes, Inc., will contact representatives within the local police force, firefighters, school district and Nellis AFB, located in North Las Vegas.  We will coordinate with each organization how best to reach out to each organization.

Horses4Heroes, Inc., encourages member barns to identify and reach out to the heroes within their community ... national guardsman, coast guard, reservists, etc.

In addition, Horses4Heroes, Inc., will meet with barns, trainers and riding stables in Las Vegas to create a network of facilities that will be participating.

We will launch this program in Las Vegas, NV and expand our network to include barns and equestrian training facilities across the country once we are up and running here.  We will network with AQHA, APHA, PtHA, and other national horse associations and their youth groups.

Horses4Heroes, Inc., a non-profit organization (501c.3 status pending), can accept donations of feed, tack, helmets and, horses.  Once we have established a local, regional and national network, we may be able to place trustworthy, broke, "school" horses with the appropriate facility.

Horses4Heroes, Inc., is a network of member barns and trainers.  Each barn is responsible for the care of its horses, tack, safety gear, etc.  Each barn, with some guidance from Horses4Heroes, Inc., will be responsible for setting up the lessons, private, semi-private or group, accepting and invoicing for payment, etc.  Expenses for horses that are used in this program can be tax deductible.  Barn owners and trainers are encouraged to seek the advice of a professional accountant.

Horses4Heroes, Inc., will reach out to local, regional and national businesses and corporations for sponsorships and donations.  Such monies will be used to defray the cost of running this program and, where possible, monies will be given to member barns to help with expenses.  Horses4Heroes, Inc., will be responsible for all paperwork, memberships, data base and directories of participants and member barns, advertising, public relations, web site, etc.
