Field Trips at The Ranch

  • Charter, Private, Parochial, Homeschool
  • Grades Pre-K – High School
  • Customized, grade-level appropriate curriculum
  • Welcome to Middle School and Welcome to High School Field Trips (grades 5 th and 8 th )
  •  Groups of 20 or more, $12 per student
  • Smaller groups, less than 20, $20 per student
  • No charge for parents, teachers or chaperones
  • Farm Science Field Trips for smaller groups, grades 3 – HS, $20 per student
  • Field Trips are weekday mornings, 9 am to Noon, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Farm Science Classes

Book a Farm Science class with Liana Neville, creator of The Coconut Crush Collection of handcrafted Bath and Beauty products.  Farm Science classes teach the Art and Science of Farming, otherwise known as Agricultural Homesteading.  For class information check our Event Calendr or email  Classes can be created for children, teens and adults.

Teen Time

Tuesdays are Teen Time at The Ranch Las Vegas

Date & Time:  Tuesdays, 2 pm to 5 pm (through May 2024)

Location:  The Ranch Las Vegas

Admission:  $15 per person, ages 10 to 17; admission includes a horse ride, activities with miniature horses, tour or our barnyard and a Farm Science class with Liana Neville and The Coconut Crush.  Class will include a Make and Take from a featured item in The Coconut Crush Collection of handcrafted bath and beauty products.

Girl Scouts/Scouts

Horses4Heroes invites Girl Scouts, Daisies, and Scouts to learn about horses, care and horsemanship.  One, two-hour session is $300.  We offer a second session that picks up where the first one leaves off.  We recommend booking Part II within 90 days of the first session.  Part II is best for ages 8 and older.  For more information, email  Your visit includes:


Horse Rider Part 1 ($300)

  • Horse 101
  • Instructional activity with miniature horses
  • Horse handling basics including grooming and leading
  • Horse Rides for each participant
  • Barnyard Tour
  • Covered Picnic Area
  • Outside food and snacks okay
  • Certificate of Completion for each Scout/Girl Scout

Horse Rider Part II ($300)

  • Horse 101 refresher
  • Instructional activities with a focus on grooming, saddling, correct way to mount and dismount and horse riding basics, including proper use of voice, seat, hands and legs, stop, start and steering around simple obstacles
  • Certificate of Completion for each Scout/Girl Scout

We also offer Team Building, Leadership Training, Eagle Scout projects, volunteer and fundraising opportunities.
