Here at the Horses4Heroes Family Equestrian Center, we offer many opportunities to learn about horses, horsemanship, horse care and horseback riding. Instructional opportunities include riding lessons (all ages, beginning and intermediate, English or Western), Field Trips, Horse 101 for Scouts and other organizations. For more information email

Horses 101 For Scouts
Horses4Heroes invites Scouts, (Girl Scouts/Daisies, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Eagle Scouts) to learn all about horses, horse care and horsemanship.
Horsemanship Belt Loops/Patches Community Service Projects Fund-Raising Team-Building Camaraderie Volunteer Opportunities
Barnyard with Farm Animals Horses (corral and arena work) Covered Picnic Area, Fenced Play Area
FIELD TRIPS
Literature – Science – Math – Life Skills – Social skills
AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
- Horse 101- Includes horseback rides (non-CCSD student)
- Learn To Lead- Halter and grooming
- Interact with Farm Animals and Milk a Cow (not a real cow!) and make butter
- “Meet the Minis” – activities with the miniature horses
