Experience Horses

Our mental health and wellness programs emphasize Responsibility, Independence, Determination and Empowerment. Working with and caring for horses teaches many important life skills and reinforces our values that horses build character and will guide us to become empathetic, empowered people who will make responsible choices throughout their lives. Most important we believe that horses teach self-sufficiency, self-reliance, self-confidence, they boost your overall self-esteem, reduce stress and anxiety, and, convince yourself and others that YES, YOU CAN! They help you find your voice and develop a sense of place and purpose. Participants feel connected, needed, loved, they find their stress levels are reduced, they are less depressed, anxious, and feel more capable of conquering fears, and overcoming obstacles and challenges in everyday life.

At Horses4Heroes’ The Ranch Las Vegas, our programs empower, engage, inspire, educate and entertain those in our community who need a hand up, not a handout including recovering addicts, Veterans/First Responders with PTSD, survivors of domestic abuse, violence, trauma and trafficking and at-risk youth and teens.

Our programs are funded by grants, donations and sponsorships and facilitated by O.K. Corral series certified instructors. We also offer leadership training and team building programs. For more information email horses4heroes@gmail.com
